Hello world! My name is Mechelle, but my friends call me Meche [pronounced Meech]. I’m an Oakland native millennial who’s passionate about art and entertainment, fashion, and food. I like to think of myself as a free spirit as I’ve always been in sync with my creative side whether it’s showcased through music, writing, clothes, or cooking, I love expressing myself via creative outlets.

I’m also very passionate about helping women achieve their career goals, promoting self-love, and realizing how powerful we really are. As I sit here in my Beyoncé tour shirt listening to Solange’s A Seat at the Table I can’t help but think, what a time to be alive! Black girl magic has never been more exuberant.

This blog is designed to cater to Black women everywhere as you are my inspiration. The topics covered stem from my everyday experiences and the experiences of other inspirational Black women who are at the core of technologies, conversations, and movements that are shaping our ever-changing world.
