Not Your Average Little Black Dress

Hello Muses!

A little black dress is a closet staple for any woman. You can dress it up with a pair of chic heels or you can dress it down with flats or sneakers. Either way you wear it, you look fly. It's also a really cool item to have in your wardrobe repertoire because it's a timeless piece. Since the dawn of time...okay maybe not that long ago, but for deacades the little black dress has yet to go out of style amirite? So imagine my delight when I stumbled up this two-piece get up from Fashion Nova (when IG ads actually come in handy).

What I love about this piece is that it's essentially a few outfits in one. You obviously can wear the set for a night on the town like I did, but you could also where the top with a pair of your favorite jeans or the skirt with a bodysuit or a bold blouse for a pop of color. The slit is to die for! I mean, it's hard not to feel sexy in this ensemble. The skirt has a high waist which makes this look flattering for any figure. It also comes olive green.
